Baby Kaylen's Angel Story
September 9th 2007 is the day my second son became an angel. Here is his story.
I found out I was pregnant around February of 2007. I wanted
a girl because we already had a 2 year old son. I had a feeling the
whole time it was a boy. From the beginning Kaylen was a healthy baby
and big. I felt him move allot sooner than I expected.
In June of 2007, we found out it was a boy. He was healthy and
due in October.
I began having problems with my blood pressure at around this time. We were not surprised because I had those problems with my first pregnancy. By the middle of August I was out of work and would be induced in few weeks because of the blood pressure.
Sadly, it would be too late.

In the early morning hours of September 9th, 2007 I started
having very bad back pains. I did not think at the time it was anything
bad. Finally, at around lunchtime I went to my mom's house because I
thought I might be in labor. We called the hospital and they said I
should come on in because it was my second baby and it would not take
long for him to come out. I called my husband and he got off work. We
all went to the hospital together.
I was checked in and sent to labor and delivery. Once I was
in bed, the nurse hooked me up to the monitor to hear the baby's
heartbeat. Right away I knew something was wrong. She continued to
move around saying that this happened sometimes. I knew something very
bad was wrong. I looked at my mom and told her they could not find the
heartbeat. The nurse said that there would be someone in to do an
ultrasound shortly.
Before long an ultrasound tech came into the room. The screen
was facing me and she proceeded to do the ultrasound. I saw my precious
baby boy and I saw his still heart. I began to cry hysterically. The
woman acted like nothing was wrong! I am no doctor but I am no idiot
either and I could plainly see that my baby was gone.
We had to wait one and a half hours for the doctor to confirm
it. He walked in the room and told us the news we dreaded to hear. The
baby had died and he could not explain why. After alot of begging he
did a c-section. My beautiful Angel, Kaylen Alexander Robinson, was
born at 5:03 on September 9, 2007. He weighed 6 lbs. and was 18 inches
long. I later found out that I had a complete placenta abruption.
